Apolar - Inventor Automatic Wristwatch

The special features for this Limited Edition “APOLAR” is a crystalized titanium dial (which is the same materials we have used for the 3rd edition of Konstantin Chaykin limited edition model). Also compares to the standard Apolar models, the globe at 12:00 representing as Day / Night indicator has been refined to offer a better 3D contrast. The Moon track ring luminous markers are in 7 different tones. The fonts for indexes have been revised using a different font with a touch of modern design. The crown is coated in red/orange. White rubber strap with quick release.

APOLAR collection is an automatic wristwatch series featuring with a unique moon track system we have designed, developed and built in-house that has been powered by a Swiss automatic movement. The mechanical module on the dial has been created to offer time display function by 2 discs at 6:00 position. The domed globe at 12:00 to display day/night indication. The sloped moon track with a small spherical moon which rotates around the globe to tell the moon position in relation to the Earth.

B020 – “APOLAR” Series crystalized titanium Dial (limited edition 88pcs) model is one of our latest creation. It’s a mechanical wristwatch we have developed base on the inspiration from the relationship between ‘Earth & Moon’. From which we have adopted a Swiss Made automatic movement (with special polished decorations) as a power source and then we installed a mechanical module which we have designed, developed, and constructed completely in-house to display a unique time display as well as a Moon track motion relative to the rotating Earth.

B020 APOLAR Functions
The globe on the dial rotates once every 24 hours (day / night indicator) while the ring track drives the micro moon orbiting the globe once 28 days, a system which provides a function of demonstration of celestial motion of our home planet and the moon (27.32 Days).

Unlike the traditional way of time telling by using hands, we have adopted 2 discs and decentralized system locating at the bottom of the dial (left & right) to represent the time in ‘Hours’ & ‘Minutes’ respectively. Whereas there is a small seconds’ hand in the center.

The “Apolar” with its unique design (an official GPHG 2020 nominee) offers a new aspect of telling time and may set a milestone in the watch designing concept.
