Windows showcases Minase’s vision by embracing geometric designs seldom seen in watchmaking. The Windows collection is available in stainless steel or in 18K rose or yellow gold. The 5 Windows Midsize was created for thinner wrists.

HiZ LABEL
Minase timepieces bear the registered label “HiZ”, a concept inspired by the Japanese words “Hizu” (exceptional) and “Hi Izuru Kuni” (Land of the Rising Sun).

The products labelled “HiZ” share three distinctive features: the “case in case” structure, the rare “Sallaz” polishing technique and the construction principle called “MORE” (Minase Original Rebuild Equation).

Sarazu hand-polishing
Minase watches' steel parts are hand-polished with the Sallaz polishing technique (also known as sarazu). A technique of polishing the steel by hand, piece after piece requiring an impressive level of skills and dexterity. Furthermore, steel bracelets are uniquely constructed; No exterior screws or pins are visible when the watch is worn thanks to the use of tiny screws on the underside of each bracelet link.

MORE & Case in Case
“Minase Original Rebuilding Equation” patented structure allows Minase watchmakers to assemble and disassemble exterior parts of the watch, such as the case and bracelet, as many times as they need to refit or repair the watch.

The case in case construction is unique to Minase watches and was inspired by Japanese 3D puzzles. The mechanical movement is enclosed between a plate and a top container (which acts as the dial) on which the index ring is fitted. This whole inner box looks like a floating structure screwed at the four corners inside each case.
