B020 - Apolar

B020 - Apolar is a mechanical wristwatch we have developed base on the inspiration from the ‘Earth & Moon‘. From which we have adopted a Swiss Made ETA cal. 2824 automatic movement this time and then we heavily modified it by installing a mechanical module which we have designed, developed and constructed completely in-house.

The globe on the dial rotates once every 24 hours while the ring track drives the micro moon orbiting the globe once 28 days, a system which provides a function of demonstration of celestial motion of our home planet and the moon (27.32 Days).

Unlike the traditional way of time telling by using hands, we have adopted 2 discs and decentralized them to the bottom of the dial (left & right) to represent the time in ‘Hours’ and ‘Minutes’ respectively. Whereas there is a small seconds hand in the center.
