GC Sport Gem-Set

The GC Sport sunburst Royal Blue dial, with applied Arabic numerals at 3, 9 and 12, captures the spirit of the hard court tennis season. The watch's ergonomic case measuring only 8.7mm in thinness and its lightweight design in polished Grade 5 titanium, make it possible for tennis players to wear it during the game. The matching vulcanized rubber strap is decorated with the Maison's signature Clous de Paris motif on the top side, and with Gerald Charles logo tapisserie on the other. The precious gemstones on the bezel enhance the sunburst dial finish.

Movement: Stronger and shock, resistant Ref. GCA 3002

For the GC Sport, the Gerald Charles GCA 3002 automatic manufacture movement has also been specially adapted. It has been made stronger and up to 40 per cent more resistant to shocks and stresses caused by high-impact movements. The rotor has been evolved, too. It is now more resistant, so that it doesn’t wind the movement too quickly during intense physical exercise, or risk overwinding it.

Case: Polished Grade 5 Titanium, case with left-side, screw-down crown

In keeping with the values of "Artistic Creativity and Technical Mastery", the hand-finished caliber has been rotated by 180° to allow the crown to be placed on the left of the Maestro Case and avoid rubbing while playing sport.

The perfect tennis watch: Calibre designed to resist to shocks

Gerald Charles has shock-tested the watch on the wrists of some ATP tournament players. Despite the extraordinary stresses, it came through testing unaffected.
