Seconde Majeure

The "Seconde Majeure" project brings together two watch brands with completely different styles. On one side, Baltic (led by Etienne Malec and Jas Rewkiewicz) masters the art of classic, vintage-inspired design. On the other side, SpaceOne (founded by Guillaume Laidet and watchmaker Théo Auffret) creates futuristic watches with highly innovative mechanics.

Born during a French brand meetup at the Baltic office in 2022, this collaboration is a true blend of both brands' DNA. It perfectly combines SpaceOne's futuristic way of reading the time with Baltic's classic proportions and elegant finishing.

For the "Charbonné" finishIng, each dial is meticulously crafted by expert watchmakers in Theo Auffret’s Parisian atelier. This signature technique, performed exclusively by hand, requires up to three hours of work per dial, giving every watch a truly unique character.
