For this new collaboration model, seconde/seconde/ took inspiration from the name TSUYOSA, meaning “power” and “strength” in Japanese. The minute hand has been transformed into a katana as a symbol of this power and strength. The sword is rendered in the pixel art style of retro Japanese video games known and loved all over the world, resulting in a unique, offbeat design. In a humorous touch, the indices appear to have been sliced in half by the razor-sharp sword.
