An Exceptional History - Mr. Yacob Yousef Behbehani & West End Watch Co.

This exceptional association all started in 1938 when West End Watch Co. came in contact with Mr. Yacob Yousef Behbehani who purchased a.first lot of West End Watches. Until the Second World War interrupted the business transactions which resumed in 1946. Mr. Yacob Yousuf obtained the official representation of the brand for the State of Kuwait. In the following years, this official representation was extended to the entire Middle-East. With the entry in the oil era and the extraordinary dynamism, excellence and strategy of Mr. Yacob Yousef Behbehani, the sales soon started to boom and culminated to 1 million watches a year in the late 1970s. Mr. Yacob Yousef Behbehani became one of the greatest watch agents in the world.

Mr. Yacob Yousef Behbehani passed away in 2004, a tremendously successful chapter, not only in the West End brand's history but also in relations of Kuwait and Switzerland. As a tribute to Mr. Yacob Yousef Behbehani West End watch Company, Switzerland has produced this limited edition of 300 watches.
