Founded in the United States during the 1930s, the company began by manufacturing metal watch bracelets and precision mechanical accessories. It became renowned for developing durable and flexible bands used in both watches and military instruments. During the 1950s and 1960s, Forstner gained wider recognition through collaborations with brands such as Omega and NASA, as astronauts wore Forstner bracelets on early space missions thanks to their lightness, flexibility, and strength.
After a period of decline in the late 20th century, the brand was revived in recent years, maintaining its original vintage designs such as the Bonklip and Komfit bracelets, while introducing modern technical improvements to meet contemporary standards.
