QUINTESSENTIALLY KOLLOKIUM: PROJEKT 01 VARIANT “H” CLOSES THE FIRST CHAPTER OF PROJEKT 01 WITH A LUMINOUS BANG

Every end is a new beginning.

After nearly three years since Projekt 01 debuted in 2023, kollokium introduces Variant “H” — the final iteration of its first chapter, bringing together three years of refinement, evolution, and design experimentation.

Reminiscent of the original black-dial Friends & Family edition, Variant “H” combines the abstract dial design of Variant “F” with the brightest and most abundant lume ever featured on a Projekt 01.

LUME TO END ALL LUME

Featuring 488 individually hand-applied Lichtblock™ pins in 6 different diameters and heights, Variant “H” uses Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9, delivering a bright cyan-blue glow for hours.

Each dial requires 2 grammes of Super-LumiNova, equivalent to the lume found in nearly 500 traditional pad-printed dials. The dial takes approximately 8 hours to assemble, pin by pin, with any faulty pin or misalignment requiring a complete restart.

The panoramic box sapphire crystal, nearly half the case’s height, showcases the intricate dial. The case and crystal are slightly reengineered compared to other Projekt 01 variants to accommodate the Lichtblock™ hands and movement positioning.

PROUDLY RAW

The case is crafted from 316L stainless steel using die-cast steel, creating a distinctive industrial texture that is neither matte nor frosted, yet unexpectedly soft to the touch.

Its two-part construction features a barrel-shaped caseback, cruciform screwdriver-inspired lugs, a steel movement container, and a triangular valve-shaped crown. The case band is engraved with the internal dossier name: K,P-n°01.

The utilitarian strap features an elastic construction, breathable material, hook fastening, and stitched loops for easy adjustment. Variant “H” comes with a creamy-white strap matching the Lichtblock™ pins, plus a second black strap.

kollokium ≠ WATCHMAKER

Projekt 01 is powered by the Swiss La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement, offering a 68-hour power reserve. The movement is left completely unbranded and unadorned, staying true to kollokium’s focus on alternative watch design.
